Good news for one actor. Hollywood heavyweight Alec Baldwin is headed for the altar.
The 53-year-old “30 Rock” star is reportedly engaged to his yogi girlfriend.
Baldwin proposed to his girlfriend Hilaria Thomas over the weekend on Long Island, reported Huffington Post, and Baldwin’s rep confirmed the exciting news.
His girlfriend is reportedly a 28-year-old yoga instructor and co-owner of New York’s Vida yoga studio.
It will be the first marriage for Baldwin and the second for Baldwin.
Baldwin has one child with ex-wife Kim Basinger, whom he was married to until 2002.
This is good news for the actor, who in previous months made headlines for not-so-sweet news. In December, Baldwin made headlines after getting kicked off an American Airlines flight in California.
He was booted from the American Airlines flight in Los Angeles, after using an electronic device before the plane departed.
His rep, Matthew Hiltzik, released a statement afterward regarding the incident. Hiltzik said, “Alec was asked to leave the flight for playing Words with Friends while parked the gate.”
Words With Friends has become a popular scrabble game and Baldwin, like any celebrity would do, took to his Twitter to comment, tweeting, ”Flight attendant on American reamed me out 4 playing WORDS W FRIENDS while we sat at the gate, not moving. #nowonderamericaairisbankrupt.”
