A YouTube video of a girl being blown away from a Jet Blue plane leaving Juliana International Airport, located on the Dutch part of the Sint Maarten Island, has gone viral with almost two and a half million views! The video, which took place on April 4, 2012, begins with a few different people trying to hang onto the chain linked fence, until mostly all the people realize they will not be able to hold on. One of the girls tries her hardest to stand her ground against the plane but is eventually lifted into the air. After she can hold on for no longer she is thrown across the beach and into a cement wall. Other beach goers run to the careless girl’s aid after her skull makes contact with the concrete and although she took a hard hit, the end of the video shows the girl sitting up right. She’s assumed to be okay.
The YouTube vid claims to be copyrighted by Joahnn Pidoux, with all rights reserved and is followed by the description, “On the beach at Maho Sint Maarten, behind Princess Juliana International Airport, a girl is blowing through the power of an aircraft engine line and finished the first head on the edge of a wall.”
Another description appears in French, “Sur la plage de Maho à Sint Maarten, derriere le Princess Juliana International Airport une jeune fille se fait souffler par la puissance des réacteur d’un avion de ligne et fini la tête la premiere sur le rebord d’un muret.”
The YouTube vid has also stirred up lots of comments, bringing in 1,667 responses to the girl who was tossed into a concrete wall by an airplane that was ready to take off. Although most of the comments were inappropriate, the YouTube user newlyfoundrenegade shared, “An airport next to a beach? Everyone there is gonna lose their hearing by age 55, LMAO.” Sam 9116 added, “Anybody noticed the guy hung on?”
Jet Blue has yet to comment.
