Katy Perry has dyed her hair another strange color. Which shade of Roy G Biv has the pop star gone for this time? Well, it’s the subdued natural shade of purple of course!
So let’s get this straight. Katy Perry gets divorced and now her hair has to suffer; how is that fair? She should just say nasty things about her ex husband like most people, it would be safer for her delicate strands.
As of last week she has dyed her hair a dark purple and added long extensions to her luscious locks.
“Somehow in the middle of all this… I found time to change my hair color… Finally… #takeaguess#foreverawalkingpantonepalette,”she Tweeted on Thursday according to People.
The “I Kissed A Girl” songstress exposed her new look at the Coachella music festival in Indio, California this weekend.
Perry has done a number on her hair this year. She’s gone from jet black, to vibrant red, and stopped off at bubble gum pink for a little before she tried natural blonde locks. But Katy isn’t into natural strands, because she quickly dove back into the rainbows dyes continuing to color her hair lavender, blue and her most recent purple.
Of course coloring can take its toll on hair, but Perry’s hairstylist, Rita Hazan, says Perry does everything she can to take proper care of her mane. “I know she does [at-home conditioning treatments], because she always calls me and asks me to send her more product,” Hazan said to People. “She takes it seriously because she likes to keep her hair healthy. It doesn’t just stop at the salon, it has to continue at home, too, and she understands that.”
