Ernest J. Widmann, 83, of Melville, passed away April 4, 2012. Husband of 61 years to Betty Ann. Father of Barbara Naccarato (Kevin), George (Nina), Christopher (Marianne) and predeceased by sons, John and Gerard. Grandfather of Lindsay, Jay, Derek, Bryan, Jessica, Danielle, Jaime, Kyle, Chris and Matthew. Brother of Dorothea Widmann, and predeceased by Mary Hetzel, George, Richard and Albert. Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Funeral Mass was held April 10 at St. Pius X RC Church followed by private cremation.
