‘Dancing With The Stars’: ‘DWTS’ Katherine Jenkins Dominates

“Dancing With The Stars” was exciting as ever last night.

All of the celebs had stellar performances, but Katherine Jenkins and her professional dance partner Mark Ballas dominated the dance floor on the Motown edition of “Dancing With The Stars.”

To make the Motown episode even more entertaining, the show was up opened up with some Doo-Wop performances. R&B legend Smokey Robinson belted out his hit “Tears of a Clown.” After him Martha Reeves sang her top songwith the Vandellas “Dancing in the Streets.” To make the music even better, the current lineup of the Temptations sang their classic song “Get Ready.” Let’s not forget to mention that Motown founder Berry Gordy in attendance.

What better way to introduce the Motown theme of the night? To make things more fun, the couples had to dance in a cha-cha marathon for extra points.

Though all the celebs looked fabulous, opera singer Katherine Jenkins was the clear star of the night. Once again, the singer was able to impress the judges with her moves. She showed off her smooth moves with professional dance  partner Mike Ballas while dancing to the Temptations “I Can’t Get Next To You.”

Jenkins has been a joy to watch week to week, and she continued to to deliver a spectacular performance this week. Since the opera singer was able to sweep the judges off their feet, they rewarded her with the top scores of the night.

The singers was able to earn two tens! Almost a perfect score and the highest numbers of the night. She also received a ten for her cha-cha dance marathon, giving her a total score of thirty-nine for the entire night!
