Who’s having a better year than Beyonce?
The singer and her rapping husband, Jay Z, welcomed their first baby into the world in January, and she has been proudly showing off her post-pregnant body ever since.
Now, People magazine declared in their upcoming issue that the superstar singer is the most beautiful woman in the world.
“I feel more beautiful than I’ve ever felt because I’ve given birth,” Beyonce, 30, told People. “I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth.”
The proud new mom received a lot of attention over the past year, mostly due to her much-celebrated pregnancy.
Last year, Beyonce’s belly received plenty of fanfare after the couple announced they were expecting during the MTV Video Music Awards in August.
But some didn’t take the couple for their word. Rumors started swirling toward the second-half of her pregnancy that her bulging belly wasn’t real, with some observers hinting that the entire pregnancy was a fake.
That little conspiracy turned out to be one giant dud.
Beyonce reportedly gave birth to Blue Ivy in a private wing of Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City, in a hospital room made for a Queen.
And, yes, Jay Z was there to witness the whole thing, according to reports.
Beyonce told People she is now enjoying her time as a mother, adding that, “the best thing about having a daughter is having a true legacy.”
The upcoming issue of People, which features Beyonce on the cover, promises to reveal how the singer lost all the baby weight.
The magazine’s list also includes, Kate Middleton, Michelle Williams, Christina Hendricks, Sofia Vergara, and some other hot chicks.
