Cheryl Cole has just released the video for her new single Call My Name this week.

Cheryl took to Twitter to share her excitement. “OMG.. Here it IS.. The VIDEOoooooo,”she tweeted. “#CallMyNamebabiessssss.”

“How do you think I feel when you call my name, you got me confused by the way I changed,” sings Cheryl as she walks down an alley in the new video, stripping off her jacket and joining a group of men for a dance number.

Call My Name is the lead single from Cheryl’s third album A Million Lights, which will be released June 18. The song was produced by Scottish DJ and producer Calvin Harris, who has worked with Barbadian singer Rihanna in the past for her Talk That Talk album.

The video was filmed in Los Angeles in March and follows a teaser she released just last week.  The 15-second teaser was taken from the beginning of the full music video and showed Cheryl’s silhouette strutting down a Los Angeles tunnel as the song played in the background.

The new single will hit radio airwaves May 10.

Cheryl is best know for her work in girl group Girls Aloud, that will be reuniting in upcoming months for their a 10th anniversary. She’s also known for being the judge of UK’s The X Factor and in 2011, opting to judge the American version. Unfortunately, her run with the US X Factor was unsuccessful and she was axed just weeks into filming auditions.
