The St. Kilian CYO girls volleyball program recently finished off their seventh season. More than 100 local girls participated on 10 teams and six of those teams qualified for the post season. The girls were all coached by adult volunteers who gave up their time to teach and improve the skills of the girls on their teams.
To cap off the season, on May 15 the sixth-grade team, coached by Laura DeAveiro and Erin Coyle-Romano, played in the B-league championship game and were victorious over the tenacious St. Frances team, sweeping them in two games.
