“X-Factor” judge Britney Spears reportedly left the show’s set while auditions were taking place on Friday afternoon, according to US Weekly. TMZ had just reported that the pop princess “angrily” stormed off when a hopeful contestant’covered one of her songs a day earlier.
She might not be “that innocent” after all.
The singer, 30, took to Twitter later that day in order to squash the report.
She tweeted, “Britney walks off??? LOL was just taking a little break people,” she wrote. “I am having the BEST time!!!”
“After a very popular contestant finished, Brit stood up and immediately walked towards the tunnel where judges enter,” a show insider explained to talking about the pop diva’s dramatic exit on Friday. The source added that no one knew exactly why she left.
“Her bodyguards [and entourage] jumped up and ran after her. She was moving fast … It was odd.” Later “she came back,” and acted as though nothing had happened, the source added.
The “X-Factor” source explained to Us Weekly that Spears, who is allegedly getting $15 million for her participation in the show, seemed “uptight” unlike her fellow judges: Simon Cowell, LA Reid and Demi Lovato. “Her body language was reserved,” the source told Us Weekly.
“Demi, Simon and LA,” on the other hand, “seemed very relaxed and engaged with contestants and the audience,” added the insider.
Though others may be concerned how Spears is handling her new role as a judge on “X-Factor” her hubby-to-be, Jason Trawick thinks his girl is doing a great job.
Trawick posted a vid to Viddy.com to let his fiance know just how proud of her he is. In the video he says, “Princess, we just completed our first weekend in Austin [Texas] on X Factor. Just wanted to say I’m very proud of you and I love you so much. Congratulations.”
Being that he posted the video in her absence he added, “Now get back in here so we can go to sleep.”
Spears posted the video on her Facebook page to let all her critics and fans know she’s got support.
