Lady Gaga’s song “Born This Way” has long been compared to a Madonna hit and Madge clearly wasn’t happy about it. In a recent rehearsal, Madonna mentions the song in what seems to be a dig at Gaga.

Gaga released “Born This Way” in May 2011 and turned out to be a huge success, selling more than 1 million copies in the first week alone. While the song was riding high on the charts, it was also getting a lot of unfavorable attention too. Upon it’s release, it was almost immediately compared to Madonna’s “Express Yourself.”

That Madonna song came from her fourth studio album “Like A Prayer,” which was released on May 9, 1989. Madonna also saw the similarities of the two songs. She later called the song a “wonderful redo” of her hit and then called it “reductive,” according to TMZ.

It isn’t just comments she’s making about the song. A Madonna performance looks like the latest Lady Gaga diss due to the similar song. In a recent rehearsal in Tel Aviv, Madonna transitioned from “Express Yourself” to Gaga’s “Born This Way.”

The performance was caught on camera and later went viral for all the world to see, garnering thousands of views and fueling the fire.

It seems that in recent weeks Gaga just can’t catch a break. The singer recently embarked on The Born This Way Ball official tour, which is set to include 110 shows around the world but was forced to cancel tour dates in Indonesia amid security concerns.

The Islamic Defenders Front reportedly wasn’t happy about the singer’s sexy clothes and performances. The group said it would enter the venue and force the show to stop as well as protest her on her way from the airport, according to reports.
