Obituary: Alice Kudrick

Alice Kudrick (Hopper), born 1926 in Buffalo, she moved with her family in 1936 to Farmingdale. She lived in Farmingdale for approximately 70 years until 2004 when she moved to The Villages, FL, where she passed away after a battle with pancreatic cancer on May 24, 2012. She was predeceased in 1998 by her first husband, local plumber Thomas Hopper. She is survived by her husband, Bill Kudrick, who has been by her side throughout her illness. She also leaves her three daughters, Barbara Mikalinis, Susan Ashton (Michael) and Cathleen Butehorn (Matthew), four grandsons, Thomas, Jacob, Sean and Ethan, and her sister-in-law, Geraldine Hopper Jemes. Arrangements were made by Arthur F. White Funeral Home. Funeral Mass was held May 30 at St. Kilian’s RC Church with interment at Pinelawn Memorial Park. Donations in Alice’s name may be sent to Villages for Hospice (601 Casabella, The Villages, FL 32162).
