After failing another drug test, “Teen Mom” Amber Portwood has been sentenced to jail for the next five years.

Portwood pleaded guilty to felony possession of a controlled substance and admitted she violated her probation in February, according Entertainment Weekly.

The 22-year-old woman avoided prison by agreeing to go into a drug rehabilitation program, but the deal was voided when she quit the program on Tuesday.

Though Amber was given another chance, she was unable to get clean and sober.

After a Madison County judge ordered Portwood back to jail, she will be serving he original five year sentence.

Amber has been in and out of jail ever since she appeared on MTV’s hit show “Teen Mom.” But in May Amber found herself in the slammer again.  She was taken to a Madison County jail in Indiana when she lied to a judge about why she did not attend a court-ordered drug test, according to Us Weekly.

The excuse the “Teen Mom” was a “medical condition.” Portwood tried to explain that she had been recovering from gallbladder surgery, and said she was just following strict doctor orders to stay home for two weeks. However, the prosecutors checked Amber’s story with her doctor and said she made up those instructions.

Amber, her daughter, Leah, and ex-fiance, Gary Shirley, will all be appearing in the final season of MTV’s “Teen Mom.”

The extended trailer shows Amber and Gary fighting while she struggles with having to go to rehab. Gary then has custody of their 3-year-old daughter.

Looks like Amber’s reality television career is over for the time being. Do you think the judge was harsh be sentencing Amber to five years?
