The GU 9 HBC Xtreme girls of Farmingdale defeated Massapequa Albion on Saturday, June 9. After trailing 1-0 at half, the Xtreme put two goals in the back of the net and with that victory they repeated as division champions in LIJSL.
The season started out slow as the Xtreme tied their first two games, but then ran off seven straight wins to finish 7-0-2.
The team: Samantha, Jaden, Emily, Makenna, Marissa, Nicole, Zoe, Savanna, ToniAnn, Keleysha, Amanda and Christine also took first place over the Memorial Day weekend in a tournament in the Poconos. They are coached by James Parisi, Steve Kolodny and Michael Rodriguez, trainer.
