More than 20 participants took place in the NFL Punt Pass Kick competition hosted by the Oyster Bay Rotary Club on Sunday, Sept. 23. These youngsters earned first-place honors in their respective age groups:
Girls Age 8-9 – Emma Guarini of Oyster Bay, 74.3 feet
Girls Age 10 – 11 – Madeline Askeland of Oyster Bay, 108.3 feet
Girls Age 14 – 15 – Elizabeth Delnegro of Commack, 245.2 feet
Boys Age 8-9 – Jack Stallow of Cold Spring Harbor, 132.2 feet
Boys Age 10-11 – Aidan Dananza of East Norwich, 247.7 feet
Boys Age 12-13 – Anthony Delnegro of Commack, 286.0 feet
Boys Age 14-15 – Logan Dananza of East Noriwch, 280.3 feet
These winners will advance to the Long Island Sectional Championships, to be held on Sunday, Oct. 14, at 10 a.m. at Theodore Roosevelt Memorial Park during the Oyster Festival. Sectional winners will advance to the Team Championship competition, to be held at Met Life Stadium during a Jets pre-game ceremony.
