Christine M. Zangari of Oyster Bay died on Oct. 25, 2012, at age 79. She was the daughter of the late Carmella Sirugo and Salvatore Tavernese. Beloved wife of Frank Zangari Sr. Cherished mother of Joseph A. Zangari, Frank Zangari Jr. (Clair), Catherine Zangari, and Christine Zangari.
She was the loving grandmother of Francesco J. Zangari and Michelle A. Zangari. Loving sister of Rose Minicozzi (late Phillip), Joseph Tavernese (Elizabeth), Salvatore Tavernese, the late Otavio Tavernese (Joan), and the late Angelo Tavernese.
She is also survived by her loving sister-in-laws and brother-in-law, as well as many loving nieces and nephews. Visiting was at the Oyster Bay Funeral Home on Friday, Oct. 26. Funeral Mass at St. Dominic RC Chapel on Saturday Oct. 27. Interment at Holy Rood Cemetery.
