Obituary: William J. Derasmo

Derasmo, William J., 90, a resident of Farmingdale for 54 years, died on Dec. 9. Proud WWII veteran who fought in the Battle of the Bulge, and a member of the Knights of Columbus Delaney Council and the Farmingdale VFW Post 516. Devoted husband of Anne. Loving father of William Jr. (Ronda) and Robert W. (Deborah). Loving grandfather of Lexi, Will, Matt and Andy. Cherished uncle and great-uncle of many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral mass was held at St. Kilian R.C. Church. Interment following St. Charles Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to McCourt & Trudden Funeral Home Inc.
