Varsity Soccer Players Honored

Seven members of the Island Trees boys’ varsity soccer team recently celebrated both academic and athletic achievements along with the rest of Nassau County soccer’s elite members. Five seniors received awards. All-conference went to Jon Rivera, Ted Connelly, Devin Gaudiello, and Andrew Barbine. Jose Carvajal received all-county and conference A-7 MVP. Sophomores Ryan Willoughby and Dylan Cranmer received all-county honorable mention. Senior Lucas Panebianco, who could not attend, also received all-conference and was named scholar athlete. The team also received a plaque for winning their conference.
