Second grade students at Saltzman East Memorial Elementary School recently learned how to use VENN Diagrams by turning to their slightly older peers. The students paired up with their fourth grade friends to discuss some of their differences and commonalities, such as their favorite foods and sports teams.
Their findings were later put to use to create VENN Diagrams, which served as a visual representation of the likes and interests students compared and contrasted. The exercise not only proved to be a wonderful illustration of the benefits of using a VENN Diagram, it also showed the students they have much common in spite of their age differences.
