Obituary: Benedict G.F. Zuk

Benedict G.F. Zuk, 80, lifelong Bethpage resident, heart-time resident of Accord, NY passed away June 10, surrounded by his loving wife of 58 years, Margaret, sons Ben, Ron, Rich (Doreen), Bill (Anne) and Bobby (Barbra). Survived by 12 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Beloved son of the late Benedict and Mary Zuk. Predeceased by his sister, Frances. Survived by sisters Julia, Margie, Arlene, and brother William. U.S. Army Korean War veteran, lifelong sheetmetal worker (Local 55/28), founder of Bethpage Panthers Midget Football (1965), past president Bethpage Dad’s Club, founder of Accord Winter Horseshoe Invitational Tournament (25th year). A funeral mass was held on June 14, at St. Martin of Tours RC Church, followed by private cremation. Donations may be sent in Ben’s memory to Wounded Warrior Project (P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675). Arrangements were entrusted to the Arthur F. White Funeral Home, Inc.
