Joshua Wurtzel of Plainview graduated first in the 2013 graduating class of the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York, NY. Joshua won the prestigious Louis D. Brandeis Award for having the highest GPA in the entire graduating class of 399 students.
He also graduated Summa Cum Laude and was elected to the Order of the Coif. Joshua was a Staff Editor and the Business Manager of the Cardozo Law Review as well as the Managing Editor of the law school’s student newspaper, the Jurist. Joshua graduated from P.O.B.J.F.K. High School in 2006 and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Binghamton University in 2010.
Joshua is the son of Plainview residents Gail and Elan Wurtzel, brother of Matthew Wurtzel, and is engaged to marry Amanda Chad of Plainview. Joshua will be joining the law firm of Weil, Gotshal & Manges as an associate in the fall.
