Oyster Bay Arts Festival
There will be something for everyone as local artists, musicians, performers, and collectors line Audrey Avenue, South Street and East Main Street in the upcoming two-day Oyster Bay Arts Festival. The festivities begin with a Saturday evening art stroll through Oyster Bay from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitors will soak in the treasures of a talented community of artists, and collectors transforming downtown sidewalks into an outdoor gallery. Live music and an outdoor marketplace will complement the artistic experience. Feed your mind and then feed your appetite – call ahead to make dinner reservations at our many fine eateries. For events targeted to children, check the Bay Time Activities website (www.baytimeactivities.com), a parent’s guide to children’s activities in Oyster Bay-East Norwich, for Saturday evening “drop-off” programs allowing parents to stroll and dine while kids have their own artistic fun.
