Veterans Barbecue
Nassau County will host the third annual veterans’ barbecue, rain or shine on Sept. 20 at Eisenhower Park, parking field 6. Lunch will be served and entertainment will include a live band. Long Island County Fair
Old Bethpage Village Restoration hosts New York State’s longest-running county fair on two consecutive weekends: from Friday, Sept. 20 through Sunday, Sept. 22, and again from Friday, Sept. 27, through Sunday, Sept. 29.
