Farmingdale High School band camp was once again very large with 225 students including band members and Dalerettes. Students left recently for Greeley, PA and spent long days on the field learning to march in formations called “the drill”.
At night they rehearsed the music and memorized it in preparation for the first home football game. Parent chaperones were a tremendous help in supporting students and teachers.
The adult team was delighted with student cooperation, focus, enthusiasm and work ethic. The 2013 half time show entitled “Dance to the Music” is on its way with students spelling “F’Dale at the end of the first song.
audience will be entertained with popular hits like “Magical Mystery Tour/ Lady Madonna”, “Take On Me”, and “Dance to the Music”.
