Lesli P. Hiller of New Hyde Park recently participated with world record long distance swimmer Diana Nyad in her historic swim in Manhattan to raise funds and awareness for the victims of Superstorm Sandy.
“I’m fortunate to have been given the opportunity to participate with a role- model such as Ms. Nyad and, through her charitable endeavors, assist many families who were affected by Superstorm sandy,” said Hiller.
Hiller is an attorney for the Nassau County Police Department’s Legal Bureau and Nassau County Attorney’s Office. She is a life-long Nassau County resident involved in several charitable and community organizations.
Hiller served as assistant counsel and ethics compliance officer for the New York Racing Association, and served as a Nassau County Assistant District Attorney. She presently hold the title of president of the Former Assistant District Attorney’s Association.
