Division Avenue High School senior Gabriela Pereira has been selected as a 2013 National Hispanic Recognition Program Scholar. Pereira was also recently named an Advanced Placement Scholar by the College Board, and she continues to challenge herself with a rigorous load of AP courses. In addition, she was a medalist in the New York State Science Olympiad, is an active member of the National Art Honor Society and is the recording secretary for the National Honor Society.
