Joseph E. Connelly, of Mineola, died at the age of 85 on Oct. 19. Beloved husband of Marie, loving father of Regina Anderson, Elise Puig, Christopher Connelly and Andrew Connelly, cherished grandfather of 10 and great grandfather of four, Connelly was a WWII army veteran, member of American Legion Post #1718, Carle Place and former owner and operator of C&M Auto Service in Mineola. He was an avid fisherman and Captain of El-Bo-Jo.
