Q: What are you doing to attract new business to Main Street?
A: I have given a few companies a walking tour of the village, explaining to them the $100 million of new construction and mixed-use development starting this fall. The village has streamlined the way developers and businesses applications are processed thereby reducing the time frame. The whole idea of mixed use and transit oriented development is to increase walkablilty and foot traffic in our downtown thus attracting new retail.
