PEANUT 1
The Steelers had a balanced game this week as the girls led the way on offense with 3 TDs. Katie Hecker, Marisa Karlsen and Emma Savino all scored on long runs. Luke Begley ran for one TD and threw for another to Dean Kott who also scored on an 80 yard reverse. Hunter Kinhackl and Andrew Adamo each had nice gains while Luke Eschman spearheaded the defense. Eschman was continuously in good position and has been a lock-down defender for the Steelers all season.
PEANUT 2
The Saints and Redskins hooked up Sunday in a fantastic game at Woodward Parkway. For the Redskins, Luca Cotto and Jordan Welch played great two-way ball, and for the Saints, Ryan Gillen and Jake Kuller had long runs, both setting up touchdown passes. All the boys are sad to see the season coming to an end!
PEE WEE 3
The Saints had hard fought win 20-6 over a tough Patriots team. Andrew Koukos and Ryan Kopetic had long TD runs and TJ Preiss threw a short pass to Joe Bleck who weaved in and out of defenders to pay dirt.
The Saints had a solid effort on defense with Andrew Aldieri pressuring the quarterback into throwing 2 interceptions, one by Kopetic and one by Preiss.
The Redskins played the Vikings. Bryan Birkl and Patrick Murphy both scored touchdowns for the Redskins. James Hammelman and Chris Bergensen ran the ball for some big yards on offense.
Peter Fernandez, Christian Mall and Tommy DeRespino (T-Mac) all played well on defense pressuring the Quarterback and coming up big with flag pulls.
