DECA Students Host Fashion Show To Benefit Ronald McDonald House

Plainview-Old Bethpage Central School District’s John F. Kennedy High School students recently “walked down the runway” as part of the school’s annual Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA) Fashion Show. The students learned about event planning and business management while preparing and organizing all aspects of the show. The event raised $750 for the Ronald McDonald House, an organization that provides assistance to pediatric cancer patients and their families across the county. Many local businesses, including Max and Gino’s, Vanilla Sky and Men’s Warehouse provided formal wear for the students to model in the fashion show.
