New Hyde Park resident and SUNY New Paltz student Kari Mavrovouniotis is participating in a campus-wide event to raise funds to support St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital lifesaving mission of finding cures and saving children. She needs support to help me reach a fundraising goal for the kids of St. Jude.
Your donation helps ensure no family ever pays for anything and help kids continue to be kids even while battling cancer.
Up ‘til Dawn is a nationally recognized fundraiser dedicated to raising money for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. The event raises money by getting attendees to send letters to friends and families asking for donations.
All proceeds will go towards the operation of the daily research and treatment of the hospital that provides care to children with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. St. Jude has been ranked the nation’s number one trusted charity.
“Up ‘Til Dawn” is a letter-writing campaign that occurs on a night of fun-filled activities, music, food and entertainment. Teams of students, faculty and administration will address at least 50 letters each to friends and family asking them to make a donation to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
SUNY New Paltz athletic teams, fraternities and sororities, multicultural organizations, residence hall councils, student association clubs and organizations and other student groups have already signed up to participate.
