The Plainview PAL Pony cheerleaders and football players had the wonderful opportunity of cheering and playing football on the gridiron during half time at the Jets game against the Miami Dolphins on Dec. 1. The smiling faces and cheery spirit of the Plainview girls was the highlight of the day and more than made up for a medicore Jets performance on the gridiron.
The cheerleading squad raises the excitement level at sporting events throughout Plainview and beyond. Their highly skilled routines provide a much-needed energy boost to teams across the sports spectrum with perfectly-timed moves, wide smiles and unbridled enthusiasm.
Besides making a stunning appearance at the recent Jets game, the Plainview PAL Pony cheerleaders also kept it local this year, cheering on the football home team at the Homecoming spectacular in October.
The Plainview-Old Bethpage school district and the entire community is proud of their Pony cheerleaders.
Meanwhile, the Plainview PAL Pony football team enjoyed time on the Jets home turf as well. It was a fun and excited close to the PAL season.
