A man was shot and wounded in Lakeview on Monday evening, Nassau County police said.
The 32-year-old victim suffered a gunshot wound to the arm on Lakefield Road at 5:45 p.m., police said.
The victim is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
Police have neither made any arrests nor released a description of the suspect.
Fourth Squad detectives are continuing the investigation.
