Plainview Brownie Troop 3547 were guests of Busto’s Martial Arts Studio at 490 Old Bethpage Rd. last month for some training and exercise. John “Shehan” Busto, owner of Busto’s, personally taught the 14 Brownie girls an intro lesson on martial arts basics, including striking, leg kicks, sweeps, evasion tactics, footwork and more. Four of Busto’s advanced students came in to demonstrate some of the moves for Brownies. The girls had a great time, and learned important lessons on protecting themselves from a local master and his team.
