The Hicksville Kiwanis Club will be having a Three Kings Christmas event at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Hicksville. There will be pizza and then a short service, followed by each child picking out a present. From 4 to 8 p.m.

7 in Heaven Singles Event
There will be a 7 In Heaven Singles Event at Mio Posto Italian Restaurant, 600 W. Old Country Rd. in Hicksville, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Ten experts will give advice and presentations, free samples, prizes and appetizers. The cost is $15. Sands Casino Trip
The Catholic Daughters of the America’s #869 will be hosting a bus trip to the Sands Casino in Pennsylvania. The cost is $42 per person. Give back is $30 slot pay and $5 food voucher. The bus leaves at 9 a.m. sharp, please arrive at Cantiague Park, near the miniature golf course at 8:30 a.m. We will be returning at approximately 8:30 p.m. For reservations, call Barbara at 516-935-5576. The first to pay is the first on the bus. All profit will benefit our charities and scholarship fund.

Barry Lisak, IRS enrolled agent, will present a seminar to help reduce one’s Federal and NYS taxes. All new 2013 tax laws will be highlighted. In the mid to late 1800s, Anglomania swept across America. Newly rich industrialists scrambled for social acceptance and wealthy American daughters married into English aristocratic households.
