Lacrosse Coach Hartranft Wins Gerald J. Carroll Award

The Farmingdale School District recently announced that  Farmingdale High School boys’ varsity lacrosse coach Bob Hartranft has been selected to receive the prestigious 2013 Gerald J. Carroll Award, presented by US Lacrosse.  The award recognizes one high school coach whose success is best measured in the support and guidance given to the development of student-athletes.  Coach Hartranft will be presented the award during the 2014 US Lacrosse Convention scheduled on January 10-12, 2014 in Philadelphia, PA.

Hartranft has played a critical role in ensuring that our students-athletes hold themselves to the highest standards both on and off the field.”

 

Coach Hartranft will be honored at the US Lacrosse convention, which is attended by lacrosse coaches, officials and administrators from all over the country. The event typically draws more than 7,000 participants, including coaches from top NCAA programs across the nation, and includes over 130 educational sessions.
