Nassau County police have released a composite sketch of a home invasion suspect who attacked a woman inside her house in Valley Stream earlier this week.
Police said a 30-year-old woman was in her Bucknell Road home when she heard a noise in one of the spare bedrooms, where she checked and found the suspect climbing in through a window at 5:20 p.m. Monday.
The assailant grabbed the victim’s hair and choked her before she broke free and screamed for help, causing the suspect to flee, police said.
The suspect was described as a Hispanic man, 18-20 years old, 5-feet, 8-inches to 5-feet, 10-inches tall with a thin build, medium-dark complexion, dark eyes and dark short hair. He was wearing a red baseball cap, white sweatshirt and blue jeans.
