The Port Washington Library is showing the work of Linda Ruden through month’s end, with a reception for the artist on Saturday, Jan. 11, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Ruden is painter and entrepreneur, active in the Long Island art community.
She is a member of the Art Guild of Port Washington, the Manhasset Art Association, the Artists Network of Great Neck, the Art League of Huntington and the Long Island Art League, where she also participates with a group of plein air painters. Ruden received her MFA from C.W. Post College and has participated in shows in Manhattan, Long Island, New Jersey and Connecticut, and has received numerous awards and media attention.
She also participates in the National Association of Women Artists in Manhattan. Her paintings and prints are in numerous private collections.
