OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAA 32-year-old man was found dead in the bathroom of a McDonald’s restaurant in Hempstead on Monday morning, Nassau County police said.

Hempstead village police officers responded to a report of an unconscious man at the fast food eatery on Main Street, where the victim was pronounced dead at the scene shortly before 9 a.m., police said.

The man’s body was taken to the Nassau County Medical Examiner’s office, where an autopsy will be conducted to determine his cause of death.

The man’s identity was not immediately available.

Third Squad detectives are continuing the investigation.
