Inclusive Sports Clinic At Hofstra

Children of all abilities welcomed to play

Colton Weage of Floral Park was one of the dozens of kid-athletes from Long Island who participated in an all-inclusive sports clinic at Hofstra University on Feb. 8, from the same organization who brought the all-inclusive playground to Eisenhower Park, Let All The Children Play (LATCP) of Jericho. Hofstra’s student-athletes coached baseball, softball, and soccer to the participants.

The event was open to all children, those with and without disabilities. A light dinner was provided following the clinics and then participants were treated to a Hofstra Pride men’s basketball game.

The LATCP playground is located near parking field 4 in Eisenhower Park. Let ALL The Children Play (LATCP) is a recognized 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization and all contributions are tax-deductible. Visit www.LATCP.org for more information about the organization and its other upcoming events.
