Garden Stage presents the Carole King Songbook
Garden Stage at Garden City’s Unitarian Universalist Congregation will be hosting the concert, “The Carole King Songbook,” on Friday, March 7, at 8:30 p.m., preceded by an open mic at 7:30 p.m.
The next-generation of women singer-songwriters pay homage to one of pop music’s legendary singer-songwriters, performing classic songs from Carole King’s early days as a Brill Building songwriter to the music from her classic ‘70s solo albums such as Tapestry, Music, and Wrap Around Joy.

In addition to delving deep into the Carole King songbook with songs such as “You’re So Fine,” “Up on the Roof,” “It’s Too Late,” and “You’ve Got a Friend,” each artist will perform one of their own Carole King-inspired originals.
$20 with advance reservations, and $22 at the door. Garden Stage is an all-volunteer, non-profit, committee of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Central Nassau that is 1/2 block north of the Long Island Rail Road, Nassau Boulevard station.
