For its monthly meeting on Wednesday, April 9, at 2 p.m., Reach Out America will present Michael D’Innocenzo, Professor of History and the Harry Wachtel Distinguished Teaching Professor for the Study of Nonviolent Social Change at Hofstra University.
He is also a founding member of the Hofstra Center for Civic Engagement and is a popular speaker on Long Island and beyond. As a historian and a peace advocate D’Innocenzo will direct his remarks to the current crisis being played out in the Ukraine. He will bring his expertise and in-depth analysis to the topic. There will be time for questions. All are invited.
The talk will follow Reach Out America’s regular meeting with its important committee reports and proposed actions at 12:30 p.m. at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Shelter Rock, 48 Shelter Rock Road in Manhasset.
