Mom Business Owners Hosting Fair

momfairPort’s Blumenfeld Park will be filled with women who take their businesses very seriously—while allowing time for fun—when MomTime Events hosts its second annual “Momtrepreneur Fair.”

All area mom business owners and service providers are encouraged to participate in the event, which takes place Sunday, May 4. If last year’s event is any indication, the day will be full of showmanship, networking and a good time will be had by all.

MomTime Events, the fair’s sponsor, is a group of women who came together to further their business interests and help each other.

The fair will promote the visibility of mom business owners who are at any stage, said Amanda Khalil, co-founder of MomTime Events. With a limit of 50 vendors, there will be a mix of home-based, web-based, brick-and-mortar, start ups and established businesses. The fair will also feature entertainment for families.

Families will directly connect with the Momtrepreneurs, local resources and services and experience a slew of fun filled activities and family entertainment in the heart of Port Washington, Khalil said.

Applications must be submitted by April 4, and will be considered on a first come, first serve basis. Applications and full event details can be found on www.portwashingtonmama.com/momtreprenuers-fair.

Sponsorship and volunteer opportunities are also available. A portion of net proceeds will be donated to the Port Washington Education Fund, a local non-profit organization.

MomTime Events is a collaboration between Momtrepreneurs, Amanda Khalil of www.PortWashingtonMama.com and Cynthia Litman, Esq., of www.MommasPearls.com. MomTime Events cultivates opportunities and produces events that showcase and support Momtrepreneurs.
