Kobe Hibachi & Sushi is moving into the former Aozora restaurant on Jericho Turnpike in Jericho.
The property was in the news a few months ago, when Aozora owner 57-year-old Sung Hee Lee of Queens was ordered to vacate the property and was arrested on Jan. 26 after more than $400,000 worth of damage was discovered inside. Lee was charged with criminal mischief and an order of protection was issued against him.
An opening date for Kobe has not yet been announced.
