Legislator Judy Jacobs (D-Woodbury) stopped by the Walt Whitman School in Woodbury for its annual Read Aloud. Jacobs read A Giraffe and A Half by Shel Silverstein, a book that is a favorite of the children, to Mrs. Bookspan’s first-grade class. The theme this year was “Fit to Read.”
