Newberry College freshman Keegan Petersen, a 2013 graduate of Long Island Lutheran High School in Syosset, is one of five college athletes nominated for the Billy Douglas Community Player of the Year.
This award is for the athlete who demonstrates excellence on the field, in the Newberry community and at large. An individual that shows caring and freely gives of one’s self to others.
