Jericho Student Wins Chemistry Award

On April 30th, Jericho High School 9th Grade student Adam Pahlavan was selected to receive the General Chemistry Achievement Award from LIU Post University.  The award was announced and given to him in recognition of his outstanding accomplishments in the universities chemistry course at the University’s Annual Awards Ceremony.  In presenting Pahlavan with his award, Dr.Nancy Peters, Chair of the Chemistry Department at LIU described Adam as coming in and blowing us away.  An amazon gift card also was given to Pahlavan with this high honor.
