Buckley Country Day School upper school students earned top honors at the end of the winter interscholastic basketball season.
This year marked the first time Buckley extended its basketball offering to fifth and sixth graders. Among students from Port, Emma Deutsch won the “Buckley Bulldog Award” on the girls seventh and eighth grade Red team, Samir Aziz was awarded the “Buckley Bulldog Award” on the boys seventh and eighth grade Blue team, Sajid Aziz was named Most Valuable Player, boys fifth and sixth grade Blue team; and Thanasi Pappas was deemed Most Valuable Player on the boys fifth and sixth grade Red team.
