On May 29, students at Summit Lane Elementary School will take the stage at 7 p.m. for their annual Spring Concert.

St. Lukes Capital Fund Campaign
On May 30, St. Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran Church will be having a down home country barbecue at 6:30 p.m. in the fellowship hall and lawn. It will include music, dancing, games, a bonfire, and activities for kids and families. There is no charge for the event, however it is asked that you bring a snack, dessert or salad to share.

On May 30, stop by Levittown Hall at 201 Levittown Parkway in Hicksville, at 8 p.m. when the Eyes of Learning—a non-profit metaphysical learning and teaching group—will have guest speaker Bill Truglio aka Llium S. Hernson, professional psychic and tarot/rune reader to discuss the crossroads where science and mysticism meet. Admission is $15 for non-members and no preregistration is required.

13th Men Who Cook Fundraiser
On May 31, the Kiwanis club of Wantagh will be holding its annual men who cook fundraiser dinner at 7 p.m. at Temple B’nai Torah, at 2900 Jerusalem Ave. This year’s dinner will be accompanied by Vegas-style gaming, complete with craps, blackjack, roulette and poker. Cost is $30 per person to attend.

On June 3, the American Legion Post #1711 and Lions Club of Levittown will partner up to host the bi-annual blood drive from 4-8:30 p.m. at the Post headquaters at 3124 North Jerusalem Rd. in Levittown. On June 5, Skaggs-Walsh Heating Services will host a special comedy night, from 8-9:30 p.m., at the Brokerage Comedy Club in Bellmore. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 per person with the proceeds going to benefit the ELIJA school in Levittown.

MacEttes Kickline Clinic
On June 7, kids in grades 1-5
are invited to join the MacArthur High School MacEttes Kickline, from 9:30-11:30 a.m., for this two-hour instructional dance clinic where they will learn pom technique, kicks, dances, jumps and turns. Cost is $25 to participate and comes with snacks.
