Annual Meeting
On June 4, the Farmingdale’s Towne House West Property Owner’s Association will hold its annual meeting from 7-10 p.m. inside Village Hall at 361 Main St. in Farmingdale.
Board of Education
The next meeting of the Farmingdale School District Board of Education will be held on June 4, at 8 p.m., inside the Howitt Middle School cafeteria at 70 Van Cott Avenue.
Tri-M Honor Society
On June 4, the Farmingdale School District will hold an induction ceremony, at 5:30 p.m. in the high school lecture hall, for students entering the Tri-M Honor Society.

Senior Awards Ceremony
On June 5, Farmingdale High School seniors will head to the school auditorium at 6 p.m. for the Senior Awards Ceremony.
Farmingdale Community Summit
The next meeting of the Farmingdale Community Summit will be held on June 5 at 7 p.m. at the Farmingdale Public Library.

Fire Department Street Fair
On June 8, the Farmingdale Fire Department will hold its annual street fair from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. outside the fire house at 361 Main St.
Pancake Breakfast
On June 8, join the Farmingdale United Methodist Church at 407 Main Street for a pancake brunch from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. A portion of the proceeds will support “Imagine No Malaria,” a comprehensive anti-malaria campaign of the United Methodist Church that focuses on prevention, treatment, education and communication. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased by calling 516-694-3424.
Bowling Tournament
On June 8, more than 200 bowlers are expected to compete for a cash prize at Farmingdale Lanes’ Tournament of Champions. A grand-prize winner is picked based on their three-game bowling score, who will receive an all-expenses paid trip courtesy of Maple Family Centers to attend the 2014 Bowl Expo in Orlando where they will present BVL with a donation check from Maple Family Centers.
PAL Long Island Lax Jamboree
On June 8, the Levittown Police Athletic League Lacrosse team will play from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Farmingdale State college’s turf field.

Restaurant Week
From June 9 – June 14, seventeen restaurants in downtown Farmingdale will be providing specialty menus and pricing to hungry customers in celebration of the village’s third annual Restaurant Week.

On June 10, varsity athletes at Farmingdale High School will head to the school auditiorium at 6:15 p.m. for an award ceremony.
South Farmingdale Fire Commissioners
The next meeting of the South Farmingdale Fire District Board of Fire Commissioners will be held on June 10 at 6 p.m. at the fire department, 819 Main St., in Farmingdale.

Northside Concert For Students
At 9:45 a.m. on June 11, students at Northside Elementary School will head to the auditorium for a special concert for their classmates.
Albany Avenue Senior Concert
On June 12, students at Albany Avenue Elementary School will head to the Saltzman East Memorial school auditorium at 7 p.m. for a special concert.

Farmingdale High School students will have their last full-day of classes on June 12, to prepare for finals and regents exams.
Northside Concert For Parents
At 9:45 a.m. on June 12, students at Northside Elementary School will head to the auditorium for a special concert for their classmates.
High School LOTE Picnic
Farmingdale High School Students in the Languages Other Than English program will be having a special picnic lunch on June 12 at 2:10 p.m.
Saltzman East Memorial Concert
On June 12, students in the jazz band at Saltzman East Memorial Elementary School will head to the school auditorium at 7 p.m. for a special concert.

“Thank You Veterans” Dinner
On June 14, state Sen. Kemp Hannon will be holding a special Veterans’ Appreciation Dinner on June 14 at the American Veterans Post 88 at 692 Broadway in Massapequa. “I invite all veterans and active duty military personnel in my Senate District (plus one guest) to join me for a free dinner as a ‘Thank You’ for all you do for this great nation,” Hannon said. There will be two seatings, from 4-5:30 p.m. and from 6-7:30 p.m. Seating is limited and reservations are necessary to attend. To make reservations call 516-739-1700.
