Santella earned the third place award plaque among the women in the 45-49 age group, Lee and Healy finished 1-2 in the women’s 60-64 age group, and 87 year old Bert Jablon, the oldest finisher in the Run, took first place honors in the 85 and over age group.
Glen Wolther of Jericho, the CEO of All Round Foods, one of the product sponsors of the Run, didn’t win an award, but he finished in a very respectable time of 21 minutes, 38 seconds.
The Run was conducted by the Greater Long Island Running Club, under the sponsorship of David Lerner Associates of Syosset, the outstanding corporate citizen whose generous support for this event over the years has made it possible for the Run to have donated over $300,000 over the years to law enforcement officers and their families in time of personal emergency. A big contingent from David Lerner Associates was on hand at the Run, to complement big teams from the Nassau Police Running Club and the NYPD Running Club.
